I’ve been chatting with friends and doing some digging (pun intended!) and I’ve come to the conclusion this newsletter should be a quick, enjoyable read—about 3 to 5 minutes tops. Perfect for a lunch break or while checking emails!
In this series, I want to share the goals and vision for my backyard plant nursery. With so many folks selling plants online, at big box stores, and at farmers markets, how do I plan to stand out from the crowd?
After some reflection, I’ve narrowed it down to six key points that will guide the nursery’s future growth:
Biodiversity
Regionally appropriate plants
Ease of propagation
Simple systems
Sustenance crops
Profitability of crops
Over the next few weeks, I’ll dive into each of these topics individually.
